The Vanishing Coin 1

Ther are lots of ways to make a coin vanish. In this method you will need a sheet of paper about 6 inches by 6 inches and a coin. Place the coin on the center of the paper laying on the table and fold the top down over the coin (fig 1). Then fold the left side of the paper back (fig2). Then fold the right side back (fig3). Finally fold the bottom section back (fig 4). If you folded it well then there will exist a little slit leading right to the coin. If you pick up the folded paper you will find that when the slit is aimed down the coin will fall out. Let the coin fall into your hand in a way so that no one else can see it fall. Then either unfold the paper and show the coin gone or (adults) burn the paper showing the coin gone.

Fatima This is a great little hankerchief trick. You get to make a hanky turn into a puppet. The pictures explain it all. Just tie a knot in the top edge of a hanky between the two corners as in the picture, grab the bottom two corners and spin it around and around until it creates long rolled up "legs". Hold the legs with one hand and grab what looks like the scruff of her neck. Then make her dance by causing her to go bow=legged then striaghtn-up then bow again.
